More 86 Mets and NY Giants

Last weekend I added 3 more former NY Giants to the seatback and this weekend I added 4 more 86 Mets to the ticket.

The 3 Giants,
Joe Morris, Joe was a 2nd rd pick in 1982 by the Giants. He played for the Giants from 1982-1988 and played for the Browns in 1991. Joe was a big part of the Giants team that won SB XXI in 1987, he was also a 2x Pro Bowl selection in 1985 and 1986. He rushed for 5,585 yards and scored 50 TD's
Keith Hamilton, Keith was a 4th rd pick in 1992 by the Giants. He played for the Giants from 1992-2003. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2000 and had 514 tackles, 83 sacks and 14 fumble recoveries
Stephen Baker, Stephen was a 3rd rd pick in 1987 by the Giants. He played for the Giants from 1987-1992. His nickname was "The Touchdown Maker". Stephan was part of the Giants team that won SB XXV in 1991.

The four 86 Mets I added today are
Doug Sisk, Doug signed as a free agent in 1980 and pitched for the Mets from 1982-1987, the O's in 1988 and the Braves in 1990 and 1991
Kevin Mitchell, Kevin signed as a free agent in 1980. Kevin only played for the Mets in 1984 and 1986 before being traded to he Padres in Dec. of 1986. Kevin also played for the Giants, Mariners, Reds, Red Sox, Indians and the A's. He was a 2x All-Star and was the NL MVP in 1989 while with the Giants.which was also the year the Giants lost to the A's in the World Series
Mookie Wilson, Mookie was a 2nd rd pick in 1977 by the Mets. Mookie spent 10 years witht the Mets before being traded to the Blue Jays at the traded deadline in 1989. I'm sure everyone remembers the Bill Buckner play in the Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. Mookie hit the ball that went thru Buckner's legs that allowed the winning run to score. The Mets went on to win Game 7 and the World Series.
Danny Heep, Danny was a 2nd rd pick in 1978 by the Astros and was traded to the Mets in 1982 for Mike Scott. Mike Scott ended up pitching against the Mets in the 1986 NLCS. Danny played 4 years with the Mets and then signed as a free agent with the Dodgers in 1997, he also played for the Red Sox, White Sox and Braves. Danny was also part of the Dodgers team that won the World Series in 1988. The Dodgers beat the Mets in the NLCS.

There are a few shows in the next few months I plan on going to. I will also do a few Islander games and possibly a Brooklyn Bolts game
