Durham Bulls at Scranton / Wilkes barre Rail Riders, Tanaka Rehab

Today will be my 6th game of there year and this is my 1st game of my HOF Classic Trip in Scranton for the Bulls @ Railriders and it was just announced that Yankees pitcher Masahiro Tanaka's will pitch in rehab. He was limited to 45 pitches though.



The Durham Bulls are the Rays AAA affiliate and the Railriders are the Yankees AAA affiliate
I got to the stadium just after noon and there was a small crowd to graph. All were the usual guys I've graphed with here in the past.
I was able to get the following:
Austin Romine, 2 cards. Austin was a 2nd rd pick in 2007 by the Yankees and has had brief stints during 3 seasons with the Yankees. Since then he was removed off of the 40 man roster and is the starter in Scranton. Austin is also the son of former Brewer, Kevin Romine and the brother of Tigers infielder Andrew Romine
Kyle Davies, 2 cards. Kyle was a 4th rd pick in 2001 by the Braves and pitched for the Braves from 2005-2007 before being traded to the Royals. He pitched with the Royals till 2011. He has pitched in the minors with in the Jays, Twins and Indians system before signing with the Yankees as a free agent. Kyle pitched in 1 game this season before being sent to Scranton.
Jacob Lindgren, 8x10. Jacob was a 2nd rd pick in 2014 and has been moving fast thru the Yankees system. In 2014 Jacob pitched in GCL, Charleston, Tampa and Trenton. This season he is 1-1 in 14 games, 3 saves and has a 1.31 ERA. Some people are saying he is major league ready.
Danny Burawa, Danny was a 12th rd pick in 2010 by the Yankees. Danny is a Long Island product out of Rocky Point and played college ball at St. Johns.
Bryan Mitchell, 1 card. Bryan was a 16th rd pick in 2009 by the Yankees and pitched in 3 games for the Yankees in 2014
Jose Ramirez, 3 cards. Jose signed as a free agent in 2008 by the Yankees. Jose pitched in 8 games in 2014 and 1 early this season for the Yankees.
Jonathan Galvez, 2 cards. Jonathan signed as a free agent in 2008 with the Padres. He signed a minor league deal with the Yankees before the season.
Eric Chavez, SS OMLB. Eric was a 1st rd pick in 1996 for the A's and spent 17 season in the majors with the A's Yankees and D-Backs. Eric is currently a roving minor league instructor for the Yankees.

Tanaka was driven thru the center field gate just like Jeter was in the past and did not sign any autographs. Then again starting pitcher usually do not sign the day they start.

Inside I went to the Durham side and after the game also graphed Durham as they got on the bus and got the following
Hak-Ju Lee, 1 card. Hak-Ju signed as a free agent in 2009 with the Cubs. Is 1 per
Jhan Marinez, 3 cards. Jhan signed as a free agent in 2006 with the Marlins and has had 2 brief stints in the majors. In 2010 Jhan pitched in 4 games with the Marlins and in 2012 pitched in 2 games with the White Sox. Has a also pitched in the Dodgers and Tigers system
J.P. Arencebia, 2 cards. J.P. was a 1st rd pick in 2007 by the Jays. 12th overall. J.P. has spent 5 seasons in the majors. He spent 2010-2014 with the Jays and part of 2014 with the Rangers. J.P. did 2 of 3 and skipped over the Ginter card.
Scott Diamond, 2 cards. Scott signed as a free agent in 2007 with the Braves and has had 3 stints in the majors. In 2011 he pitched in 7 games, 2012, 27 games and 2013, 24 games all with the Twins. Has also pitched in the Reds system
Allen Dykstra, 1 card. Allen was a 1st rd pick in 2008 by the Padres, 23rd overall and had a 13 game brief stint earlier this season with the Rays. Allen has also played in the Mets system and was the 2013 Eastern League MVP while playing in Binghamton, the Mets AA affiliate
Cory Brown, 1 card. Cory was a 1st rd pick in 2007 by the A's. 59th overall. Cory has had brief stints with the Nationals during the 2011, 2012 and 2013 and played in 3 games in 2014 with the Red Sox
Mikie Mahtook, 1 card. Mikie was a 1st rd pick in 2011 by the Rays, 31st overall and had a 4 game stint with the Rays earlier this season. Mikie was a 1 per
Taylor Motter, 1 card. Taylor was a 17th rd pick in 2011 by the Rays
Ronny Belisario, 1 card
Eugenio Velez, 2 cards
Grant Balfour, 8x10. Grant signed as a free agent in 1997 with the Twins and is a 12 year major league veteran. He played parts of 2001, 2003, 2004 and a part 2007 with the Twins. The second half of 2007 the Brewers. He then was traded to the Rays and played till 2010. Then Grant pitched for the A's and went back to the Rays in 2014. He pitched in 6 games earlier this season with the Rays before being DFA'ed

The total number of autographs for those game was 28 and it brings my total for the IP season to 93.
