2012 SP Signature Box Break MOJO!!!

I usually do not post about my box breaks unless I get a great hit. After you read this you will agree I did great. .
Online I picked up a box 2012 SP Signature. I've posted about these cards in the past. Each box contains 3 packs, with the 3 cards per pack. All autographs. I believe you should get 1 American Flag card, 1  dual, and either a triple or quad signature card and then 6 single signed cards. Each of the single signed card either say prospect  or just the year they played for the city named.
These are put out by Upper Deck and remember they are no longer licesened with MLB. There are no pictures or team names on the cards. Just city names
The thing with these packs is you do real good and real bad. So, if you buy just 1 pack, there is a good chance you will not be happy. If you buy a box, you should be.
I will save the best for last. Which happens to be the Flag card and the dual. The rest of the cards are as follows
Melvin Mora, Melvin was a free agent signing in 1991 with the Astros. He played 13 years in the majors starting out with the Mets, O's and his last 2 years where spent with the Rockies and D-Backs.
He was an All-Star in 2003 and 2005. He retired at the end of the 2011 season.
A quick Mora story. I was graphing outside Shea stadium the day he was traded to the O's. He was loading up his car outside the Mets offices. There was a few of us hanging around and he offered us gu bats. I turned it down because I didn't want to carry it around all day. Now when I think of it. I should have taken it. He turned out to be a decent player. His best year was in 2004. 27 homers, 114 RBI's and batted 0.340 and was 2nd in the league behind Ichiro who batted 0.372
Jordan Danks, Jordan was a 7th rd pick in 2008 by the White Sox. Has spent parts of 2012 and 2013 in the majors. Has not spent a full season in the majors yet. This card is shown as a prospect.
Brandon League, 2nd rd pick in 2001 by the Jays. Has pitched with the Jays, Mariners and Dodgers
Seth Lintz, Seth was a 2nd rd pick in 2008 by the Brewers out of high school. Spent the 2013 with 3 different Indy teams with an era of no less then 7.71. This card is labeled as a prospect. Well not any more. I would say he should have went to college first.
Pete Hissey, Pete was a 4th rd pick in 2008 by the Red Sox. He just finished his 2nd year in AA Portland. This card is labeled as a prospect. I wouldn't think thay anymore.
Josh Reddick, Josh was a 17th rd pick in 2006 by the Red Sox. Has spent the last 5 years in the majors and is now playing for the A's. 2012 he hit 32 homers with 85 RBI's. This season so far he has 12 homers. If you ever saw the guy who looks like the homeless guy running around the A's outfield. That would be Josh!
The quad autograph is a Mets cards which features 4 players who are no longer in the Mets system. 2 of which, I believe are out of baseball.
Josh Thole, Josh was a 13th rd pick in 2005 by the Mets. He played a good deal as the Mets starting catcher for 2011 and 2012. He was also R.A. Dickey personal catcher in 2012. He was included in the blockbuster deal that send R.A. Dickey to the Jays for 3 prospescts. Spent most of 2013 in AAA and was a late season call up for the Jays.
Reese Havens, Reese was a 1st rd pick in 2008 by the Mets. Has spent his most of his career on the DL. Was once considers one the of the Mets top prosepcts. Played in AAA this season. But, again spent most of his time on the DL. His father was former major league pitcher Brad Havens.
Chin-Lung Hu, was signed as an amateur free agent in 2003 from Taiwan. He was also once considered a top prospect. Has played in 118 major league games over 5 years with the Dodgers with a career batting average of 0.176. Spent 2012 in the Atlantic League. According to baseball-reference he did not play in 2013.
Tobi Stoner, Tobi was a 16th rd pick in 2006 by the Mets. He pitched in a total of 5 games between 2009 and 2010 with the Mets. Spent 2012 between 2 Atlantic League teams. According to baseball-reference he did not play in 2013.

Also shown above was a redemption that I got in the mail today from Topps.
Addison Russell, Addison was a 1st rd pick in 2012. He was ranked as the 17th overall prospect this season by MLB. Addison played 3 games in AAA this season after spending most of the season in advanced A.
The second best hit of the box was the Flag card that is 01/99
Don Newcombe, Don signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1946. He pitched in the majors from 1949-1960. Spenting most of his time with the Dodgers. He was traded to the Reds in June 1958 where he spent 2.5 seasons with the Reds before being sold to the Cleveland Indians. Also pitched in Japan in 1962. He missed the 1952 and 1953 seasons because he served in the military. Mr. Newcombe was the only baseball player to have won the Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player and Cy Young awards in his career. That was until Justin Verlander did it in 2011. I got the chance to meet Mr. Newcombe at an autograph show and he was one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Mr. Newcombe is still an active member of the Los Angles Dodgers organization. He is the Special Advisor to the Chairman who is Mark Walters

Saving the best for last. This dual autograph card is labeled as the 2000 World Champs card for the Yankees. Roger Clemens/Derek Jeter, the card is hand numbered 09/30. I would rather it be a Derek Jeter single signed card. But, its still a nice pull. If only Clemens would not have made a mess of his career. I don't think I need to tell you anything about either player.
This has to be one of my top 5 best baseball pulls ever. I think its tied with the Koufax/Berra dual signed card that came out of the same 2012 SP Signature.

Sorry for the bad scans. I have to clean the plate on the scanner.

The box was on sale and I think I got my $$$$'s worth.

Well the Ducks surprised me and held onto the division and are now in the playoffs. There is atleast one more game for me to graph. The Ducks play the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in the first round. The crabs have since signed a couple of former major leaguers and 1 minor league I have cards for.  The series starts here on LI wednesday night. The Crabs had the better overall record, so the first 2 games are here and then they go to Southern Maryland.

Thank for Reading and Check Back Soon!!!!!
