Game 15 was last night in Staten Island. The Cyclones and Baby Bombers played game 2 of the 3 game home at home series.
Instead of driving I decided to take the LIRR into Manhattan and then I took the No.1 subway line downtown to the Staten Island Ferry. The trip took longer.But, I avoided the horrible traffic.
For those who are not familiar with NYC. The Staten Island ferry terminal is downtown near Battery Park and just south of the site of the former Twin Towers.
The ferry ride is about 25 minutes and then the stadium is a short 100 yard walk. Many tourists will take the ferry ride just to see the NY Harbor. The short ferry ride takes you past the Statue of Liberty and gives you a great view of Lower Manhattan.

When the stadium opened I headed over to the Yankee's side since I had banged out the Cyclones logo at the teams opener. They have since added a couple of guys and I will add them later.

The Ducks come home tomorrow and play 3 series before the All-Star break. I hope to get to atleast 1 game of each series.
My next planned affiliated game will be July 5th at MCU Park which is Seinfeld night and the promotion is a Keith Hernandez bobblehead
