Twins @ Orioles

Day 2 was Saturday and Game 35 on the year for me in Baltimore. The Twins played the O's.
I got to the stadium early and I was a little surprised there were only 4 of us graphing. In the past graphing outside Camden Yard was great. Things have changed a lot. Visiting team players arriving by either town car or taxi are allowed to enter the stadium down the ramp. In the past they had to get out of the cars in front of the stadium which made things a lot easier.
As far as the Orioles signing, you are lucky to get 1 or 2 autographs. Its a hit and miss thing. According to one of the local graphers, the players are more inclined to signed for kids
I did manage to get the following
Steve Clevenger, 8x10. Steve was a 7th rd pick in 2006 by the Cubs. He has spent parts of 4 seasons in the majors with the Cubs and O's
Tommy Hunter, 1 card. Tommy was a 1st rd pick in 2007 by the Rangers and has been pitching in the majors since 2008. Tommy was nice and spent a few minutes talking to the 4 of us.
Mike Bordick, 5x7 Shea Custom. Mike does TV for the O's and was real nice.

Then most of the Twins coaching staff walked by us and I got
Ron Gardenhire, 1 card. Ron is the Twins manager as he as been doing since 2002. Ron was a 6th rd pick of the Mets in 1979. He spent parts of 5 season between 1981 - 1985 playing with the Mets, he spent 1986 with Tidewater, the Mets AAA affiliate and finished out his time in 1987 with the Twins AAA affiliate.
Tom Brunansky, 1 card. Tom was a 1st rd pick in 1978 by the Angels and was a 14 year major league vet playing with the Angels, Twins, Cardinals, Red Sox, Brewers.
Scott Ullger, 1 card. Scott was a 18th rd pick in 1977 by the Twins and had a brief 35 games in 1983 with the Twins. He played 10 years in the minors before retiring in 1987.

Then the best autograph of the weekend was from Hall of Famer and Twins coach Paul Molitor. Paul was a 1st rd pick in 1977 by the Brewers and spent 21 years playing for the Brewers, Twins and Blue Jays. Paul was a 7x All-Star, a World Series MVP in 1993 and was elected to the Hall in 2004.

Inside the stadium I went to the Twins side. Scott Ullger was the only Twin to sign.
If I would have gotten down to the field 30 min. earlier I would have gotten Kennys Vargas and Jared Burton. Jordan Schafer came over to talk to some friends. But, wouldn't sign

After the game I was able to get Twins pitcher Tommy Milone on 1 card. Trevor May also came out. But, I didn't have anything for him.

Today was Quality over quantity. Getting Molitor made the weekend as far as graphing goes.

Next up is Bowie. I should have a post up in the next day or so.
