This post will be for the 2010 Brooklyn Cyclones
Juan Centeno. Juan was a 32nd rd pick in 2007. He is currently on the Mets 40 man roster and been part Sept. call-ups for the last 2 seasons.
Taylor Freeman, Taylor was a 8th rd pick in 2009. The Mets released Taylor after the 2010 season. He had a brief stint with a Indy League team in 2012. But, is now appears to be out of baseball
Blake Forsythe, Blake was a 3rd rd pick in 2010. The Mets traded Blake to the A's organization during the offseason in 2013. He is currently in AA.
Yohan Almonte. Yohan signed as a free agent in 2008. He was in the Mets system till the end of the 2012 season and not appears to be out of baseball.
Mitch Houck, Mitch was a 17th rd pick in 2008. Mitch was released after the 2010 season. Now appears to be out of the baseball.
Nelson Pereira. Nelson originally signed as a free agent with the Pirates in 2006. He spent 2010 with the Cyclones and now appears to be out of baseball.
Rylan Sandoval, Rylan was a 30th rd pick in 2007. He worked his way thru the Mets system reaching AAA. But, was recently released by the Mets.
Luis Nieves, Luis signed as a free agent in 2006. He was in the Mets system till the end of the 2012 season. I believe he is now out of baseball
James Schroeder, James was a 33rd rd pick in 2009 and was released after the 2010 season and now appears to be out of baseball.
J.B. Brown, J.B. was a 14th rd pick in 2010. He spent 2011 in the Mets systsem before being released. Spent 2012-2013 bouncing around in the numerous indy leagues. He is not playing this season. I guessing he has retired
Joe Bonfe, Joe was a 21st rd pick in 2009. He was in the Mets system until 2013. But, was released during the offseasn and is currently with St. Paul in the American Assoc.which is a Indy League team
Jeff Flagg, Jeff was a 27th rd pick in 2008. After the 2010 season Jeff was released and spent 2011 and 2012 in the Frontier League and now appears to be out baseball.
Brian Harrison, Brian was a 13th rd pick in 2010. He was in the Mets system till the end of the 2013 season. He did not play this season. I'm only guessing he has retired.
Darrell Ceciliani, Darrell was a 4th rd pick in 2009 and is currently in Binghamton the Mets AA affiliate
Will Cherry, Will was a 38th rd pick in 2009. He spent most of 2010 with the Cyclones and played just 1 game with St. Lucie. I believe he is now out of baseball.
Cody Holliday, Cody was a 18th rd pick in 2009. After the 2010 season the Mets released him and it appears he has retired.
Cory Vaughn. Cory was a 4th rd pick in 2010 and is currently in Las Vegas, the Mets AAA affiliate.
Kurt Steinhauer, Kurt was a 27th rd pick in 2009 and was released after the 2010 season. He split 2011 with 2 different Indy League teams and now appears to be out of baseball.
Wes Wrenn, Wes was a 35th rd pick in 2009 and was a released after the 2010 season and now appears to be out of baseball.
Daniel Carela. Daniel signed as a free agent in 2009. After the 2010 season he has been in the Dodgers and Phillies and the Braves organization. Currently is pitching with an Indy League team.
Angel Cuan, Angel signed as a free agent in 2008. Angel is still in the Mets system. But, spent most of 2014 on the DL. He did briefly pitch in AA this season.
A.J. Pinera. A.J. was a 18th rd pick in 2010 and was released after the 2010 season and now appears to be out of baseball.
Adam Kolarek, Adam was a 11th rd pick in 2010 and is currently pitching for Binghamton, the Mets AA affiliate.
Hamilton Bennett. Hamilton was a 29th rd pick in 2010. The Mets released him during the 2014 season. Signed shortly afterwards and is currently pitching with a Indy League team.
Brian Needham, Brian was a 28th rd pick in 2009 and was released after the 2010 season and now appears to be out of baseball.
Samuel Tavares, Samuel signed as a free agent in 2007. He pitched in the Mets system until the end of the 2010 season when he was released.
Johan Figuereo, Johan signed a free agent in 2007 by the Nationals.He spent the 2010 season in the Mets organization and was released at the end of the season.
Ryan Fraser, Ryan was a 16th rd pick in 2010 and is still in the Mets system. He split the 2014 season between Advanced A and AA.
Chris Hilliard, Chris was a 38th rd pick in 2008 and was released after the 2011 and now appears to be out of baseball.
Of the 29 players I got autographs from, only 9 are still in baseball, 7 of the 8 are still in the Mets organization.
Of the 7, I think maybe 2 could see time in the Majors at some point.
There were a few others who played for the Cyclones that year. Of those others, only Wilfredo Tovar has seen time in the Majors. Wilfredo was a Sept. call-up during the 2013 season. Not counting Pedro Martinez who pitched in rehab.
