Lynchburg Hillcats at Wilmington Blue Rocks

Since I have a 3 day weekend with the holiday, I took a quick 2 day trip which started in Wilmington on Friday. This was Game 19 on the season for me.

The Lynchburg Hillcats are the Indians Advanced A affiliate are in town Today was the final game of a 3 game series. 

This could also be he last game I attend in Wilmington while they are a Royals affiliate. There is a ongoing court case that involves the Binghamton Mets being sold and moved to Wilmington. With the Blue Rocks moving to North Carolina. Nothing official has been announced yet. But, after speaking to a few locals and a couple of the ushers at Frawley Stadium. I think something will happen soon and that was the feeling from the people I spoke to. I would think the details will not be announced till after the season. I may do a separate post about this at another time.

Anyway, my goal for the day was to get the autographs of 3 of the Indians top prospects. I got to the stadium early and was able to go to the team store and get the 2015 sets for both teams. 

I graphed both teams outside before the game and the Hillcats inside and after the game and was able to the following:

Blue Rocks

Sean Manaea, 2 cards while charting and an 8x10 outside before the game. Sean was a 1st rd pick in 2013 by the Royals, 34th overall. Sean is ranked as the #2 rated prospect in the Royals system and is ranked #56 in the Top 100 by MLB.

Frank Schwindel, team card. Frank was an 18th rd pick in 2013 by the Royals

Cam Gallagher, team cards and one of my 8x10's that I took last season. Cam was a 2nd rd pick in 2011 by the Royals

Matt Alvarez, team card. Matt signed as a free agent in 2013 by the Royals

Andrew Edwards, team card. Andrew was a 19th rd pick in 2013 by the Royals

Jacob Junis, team card. Jacob was a 29th rd pick in 2011 by the Royals

Mauricio Ramos, team card. Mauricio signed as a free agent in 2011 by the Royals

Luis Rico, team card. Luis signed as a free agent with the Pirates in 2011 and spent 2 seasons in the Pirates system before signing with the Royals

Ramon Torres, team card. Ramon signed a a free agent in 2010 by the Royals and is ranked 19th Top Prospect in the Royals system.

Yender Caramo, team card. Yender signed as a free agent in 2011 by the Royals

Kevin McCarthy, 8x10. Kevin was a 16th rd pick in 2013 by the Royals and is a Long Island Product from Rockville Centre

Delvy Francisco, team card. Delvy signed as a free agent in 2012 by the Phillies. Signed by the Indians before the 2015 season.

Luis Lugo, 3 cards. Luis signed as a free agent in 2011 by the Indians. Luis is currently ranked #16 Top Prospect in the Indians system

Casey Weather, team card. Casey was a 1st rd pick in 2007 by the Rockies. In 2012 Casey pitched in the Cubs system, 2013 in the Rays system

Eric Haase, 4 cards. Eric was a 7th rd pick in 2011 by the Indians

Nellie Rodriguez, team card. Nellie was a 15th rd pick in 2012 by the Indians. Nellie is currently ranked #27 Top Prospect in the Indians system

Bradley Zimmer, 8x10 and 2 cards. Bradley was a 1st rd pick in 2014, 21st overall by the Indians. Bradley is currently ranked #3 Top Prospect in the Indians system and is the brother of Royals prospect Kyle Zimmer

Justin Brantley, team card. Justin signed as a free agent in 2014 by the Indians

Mitch Brown, 2 cards. Mitch was a 2nd rd pick in 2012 by the Indians. Mitch is currently ranked #12 Top Prospect in the Indians system

Robbie Aviles, team card. Robbie was a 7th rd pick in 2010 by then Indians

Ben Heller, team card. Ben was a 22nd rd pick in 2013 by the Indians

Clint Frazier, OMLB, 8x10 and 4 cards. Clint was a 1st rd pick in 2013, 5th overall by the Indians. Clint is currently ranked #2 Top Prospect in the Indians system, and #53 in the top 100 by  MLB

Luigi Rodriquez, 2 cards. Luigi signed as a free agent in 2010 by the Indians

I would say I had a Good day with 49 Autographs. This brings me to 377 autographs on the season.
