Game 15, Ducks at Bridgeport Bluefish

Game 15 was this past Sunday in Bridgeport. Its 1.5 hr ferry ride and a short walk to The Ballpark at Harbor Yard.
The Ducks and Bluefish play in what is called the Ferry Cup. This was game 4 of the a 4 game series in Bridgeport with the Ducks leading the series 2-1 before this game. But, lost this game. So, the series is tied 2-2.
The Bluefish like the other teams in the Atlantic League hold an autograph session on Sunday's. The only difference is it is a Post Game session, not a pre game like the Ducks hold.

Before the game I graphed the Ducks side and was finally able to get Jordan Pacheco on 4 cards.
Pacheco signed with the Ducks a couple of weeks ago and was a 9th rd pick in 2007 by the Rockies. He spent parts of 6 season in the majors. Rockies 2011-2014, D-Backs 2014-2015 and most recently the Reds in 2016 in 31 games. Jordan has played everyone position except shortstop and pitcher in the majors.  He has spent most of his time with the Ducks as a backstop

As for the game, the Ducks lost 1-6. The last few innings was played in the rain and I was abit concerned that the autograph session would be cancelled. After talking to an usher, I found out that the session would be moved under cover behind homeplate on the concourse.
A few players who I need did not come out for the session. I did manage the following:
Rainy Lara, 3 cards. Former Mets pitching prospect
Angelys Nina, 1 card
Cory Riordan, 3 cards
Luis Hernandez, 1 card
Jonathan Albaladejo, 1 card, Former Nationals and Yankees pitcher
Tyler Badamo, 1 card,  Former Mets pitching prospect and from Long Island
Sean Burroughs, 2 cards, Former major leaguer and Duck
Frankie DeJulio Jr, 2 cards, Former Duck pitcher
David Carpenter, 1 card
Luis Rodriguez, 1 card
Rich Garces, 4 cards, Former pitcher for the Twins
Tony Abrue, (2) 8x10's, Former Royal and Dodger IFer
Danny Burawa 2017 WBC Team Israel Locker Name plate, Danny had 2 short stints in the majors with the Yankees and Braves. Also from Long Island

I should have used silver or a blue deco on those 2 photos

This is 1 of the 4 WBC Team Israel plates I won in from a MLB Auction and its my 23rd autographed Locker Name Plate

I got 29 autographs on the day, this brings my season total to 227

I'm now caught up with the posts. Next up will probably be 2 games with the Bluefish coming to Long Island.
Just today the Ducks signed former O's pitcher Alfredo Simon and the Bluefish signed former Pirates IFer Andrew Lambo. Hopefully I'll get them both this weekend

Thanks for Reading and Check Back Soon
