Patriots @ Ducks

This past Thursday was game 30 on the season for me. The Patriots are in to start a 4 game series. The gates opened 50 mins earlier because the Ducks hosted a softball game between the Nassau County Police and the Nassau Corrections dept and It was also a Buddy Harrelson Bobblehead night.
In my opinion there is no likeness to Buddy at all and this bobblehead look bad.

As every night. Buddy started to sign next to the dugout as soon as the gates opened. He signed during the softball game. I would say he signed for over 1 hr before the game. After the Ducks game started. A table was set up on the concourse and Buddy signed there as well. Probably until about the 8th inning. I was not going to get the bobblehead signed till I saw how nice it came out on someone elses. He used a fine tip pen and it looks great.

During the softball game various players from both the Ducks and Patriots ran and thru in the outfield. Some signed for other graphers I didnt have much for both teams to begin with. But, I did get Erick Threets on 1 card. Not needing anyone who was on the field. I went a grabbed some food and noticed some of the Patriots on the concourse. Some where going to the indoor batting cage and others where watching the softball game.
Before the game started I hung out on the Patriots side and got the following:
Brett Jodie, 1 card. Brett is currently the Manager of the Patruits. He took over when Sparky Lyle retired. He was Sparky's pitching coach before take the Managers position. Brett was a 6th rd pick in 1998 by the Yankees. He pitched in 1 game for the Yankees and 7 games for the Padres in 2001.
Jorge Cortes, 2 cards. Jorge is a 15 yr minor league vet who has played in the Pirates, Astros and Cubs system getting as high as AAA. He has also spent time in Mexico and has also played in the American Association and the now defunt Golden League. If you are not familiar with the American Association and the Golden League, they are other Indy Leagues that are located around the US.
Yunesky Sanchez, 2 cards. Yunesky is a 7 yr minor league vet and has played in the D-Backs and Pirates system getting as high as AAA. He started the year in Mexico.
Angel Sanchez, 1 card. Angel was a 11th rd pick in 2001 by the Royals. He has had brief stints in the majors with the Royals, Red Sox, Astros, Boston and played in 1 game this season with the White Sox.
Jeff Baisley, 1 card

I will probably got to the Ducks tomorrow for the pregame autograph session and then Lancaster comes in for a 4 game series  starting on Monday and I'm still in the middle of planning next weekends trip. That will probably be the last of the affiliated games for me for the year.
