This afternoon was Game 33 when the Patriots and Ducks finished out the series. Sunday's is the autograph session before the game and I needed just 1 card to complete the 2014 as far as current Ducks goes.
Earlier in the season the Ducks gave out 15th anniversary team sets and forgot I even had them till recently.
A handful of current players are in the set
I got the following during the session,
Lew Ford, 15th Ann. card
John Brownell, 15th Ann. card
Dan Lyons, 15th Ann. card
Evan Crawford, 8x10. Recently acquired in a trade with the Florence Freedom of the American Association.. Evan was a 9th rd pick in 2009 by the Giants. He also spent time in the Cubs system getting as high as Advanced A.
Brandon Bantz, 2014 Team card and an 8x10. Brandon was a 30th rd pick in 2009 by the Mariners. Brandon played 1 game in the majors in 2013 with the Mariners. Brandon started 2014 in the Nationals system before signing with the Ducks
Today was also Mascot day. QJ was joined by numerous other local college Mascots as well as Sparky, the Islanders Mascot.
The autograph count for the 2014 IP baseball season is up 534
