Mets, Jets and Giants...

Yesterday I hit a show and then a free signing at a car dealership for a couple of free autographs.
The day started at a show up in White Plains where 69 Mets Jerry Koosman and 69 Mets Howard Johnson were signing autographs. The free autograph was HOFer Gaylord Perry. Also signing at the show was Sid Fernandez and Frank Thomas who I already have numerous times.
I decided that the Shea Stadium Field Level seat was full after getting 40 autographs on it. So, I started the blue Loge Level seat back and started with Jerry Koosman. Mr. Koosman does not do alot of public signings and after seeing his autograph I was happy to get it when I did. Mr. Koosman's autograph is very shaky looking. Mr. Koosman signed as an amateur free agent in 1964 with the Mets. In the winter of 1978 he was traded to the Twins for Jesse Orosco. He pitched for 19 years and also pitched for the White Sox and Phillies. He was a 2x All-Star and finished 2nd in the Cy Young vote in 1976 after having a 21-10 record, 2.69 ERA and pitched 17 complete games.
Next autograph was Howard Johnson on the 86 WS Mini Mega Ticket. Howard spent is coaching career in the Mets system until last year coaching in AAA in the Mariners organization. He was promoted for the 2015 season and will serve as the Mariners hitting coach. This is the 12th auto on the Ticket.
I can probably fit another 3 or 4 autographs before it is full.
Next up was the free autograph for the day, HOFer Gaylord Perry. I spent an extra $10 to get the HOF inscription. Mr Perry pitched for 22 years in the Majors with the Giants, Indians, Rangers, Padres, Yankees, Braves, Mariners and Royals.. He was a 2x Cy Young award winner, 1972 and 1978,  5x All-Star. He finished with a record of 315-265, 303 complete games and 3534 K's

Next stop for the day was a 45 minute trip to East Hanover NJ to a Jeep dealership that had NFL HOFer and former NY Giant, Harry Carson and former NY Jet Wayne Chrebet
I added Harry Carson to the Giant Stadium seat back. There was a bigger turnout than I expected and ended up waiting 2.5 hrs to get the autographs. After Mr, Carson signed the seat I was alittle disappointed to see he somewhat over wrote Karl Nelson's autograph next to his. He has plenty of room to sign also. Mr. Carson was a 4th rd pick in 1976 by the Giants. He played his entire career with the Giants until 1988. He was a 9x Pro Bowl selection, he was also on the SB XXI Champion Giants and was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2006. This was the 12th autograph on the seat back.
Wayne Chrebet on an 8.5x11. Wayne signed as a Free agent in 1995 after playing his college ball at Hofstra. He continued to play until 2005 when his time was cut short because of to many concussions.

My next planned outing is next weekend when I attend the Red Sox Winter Weekend, which is a 3 day event that features over 30 current and former Red Sox.

Thanks for Reading and Check Back Soon!!!!!!
