Last Monday while driving home from Syracuse I stopped in Binghamton for my 9th game of the season.
The B-Mets are the Mets AA affiliate and the Akron Rubberducks formerly known as the Aeros are the Indians AA affiliate
The stadium is always open 5 to 6 hrs prior to game time. But, started graphing outside a got a few autos.
I then went inside and there was about 4 or 5 graphers inside already
Between outside and inside the stadium I was able to get the following B-Mets
Dustin Lawley, 1 card. Dustin was a 19th rd pick in 2011 by the Mets
Jayce Boyd, 1 card. Jayce was a 6th rd pick in 2012 by the Mets and is repeating AA because the organization moved him from 1st base to the outfield. A few days later he was promoted to AAA Vegas
Chase Huchingson, 1 card. Chase signed as a free agent in 2010
Gabriel Ynoa, 3 cards.Gabriel signed as a free agent in 2010 and is listed as the Mets Top 14th prospect in the system
Adam Kolarek, 2 cards. Adam was a 11th rd pick in 2010 by the Mets
Michael Fulmer, 4 cards. Michael was a 1st rd pick in 2011 by the Mets, 44th overall and is listed as the Mets Top 15th prospect in the system
Paul Sewald, 3 cards.Paul was a 10 rd pick in 2012 by the Mets
John Gant, 4 cards. John was a 21st rd pick in 2011 by the Mets. John has been since demoted to St. Lucie
Gavin Cecchini, 4 cards. Gavin was a 1st rd pick in 2012 by the Mets and is listed as the Mets Top 10th prospect in the system. Gavin's brother Garin is currently in the Red Sox system
Jared King, 2 cards. Jared was a 5th rd pick in 2013 by the Mets
Bobby Parnell and Vic Black on a BP ball I found in the stands. Both Bobby Parnell and Vic Black are both on rehab. Parnell had Tommy John surgery in April of 2014 and Vic Black is recovering from a rotator cuff injury he had in Sept. 2014.
Brandon Nimmo was on the DL and was sent to St. Lucie to rehab. Then the Mets promoted Michael Conforto 2 days later
I didn't plan on graphing much of Akron. But, I did have a some cards and got the following
Tyler Naquin, 3 cards. Tyler was a 1st rd pick in 2012 by the Indians and is listed as the Indians Top 5th prospect in the system.
Josh Martin, 2 cards. Josh was a 10th rd pick in 2012. Josh currently is 5-0 with a 0.92 ERA and would think he will be promoted soon.
Tony Wolters, 2 cards. Tony signed as a free agent in 2010 and is listed as the Indians Top 24th prospect in the system.
Jeremy Lucas, 1 card. Jeremy was a 12th pick in 2012 by the Indians
Since I was going home that day I decided to leave in the 6th inning and did not graph after the game.
I ended the day with 33 cards signed and the 1 ball and it brings my Total for the IP season to 158 autographs.
