B-Mets at Trenton Thunder and Hideki Matsui...

This past Saturday I took the drive to Trenton to see the B-Mets play the Trenton Thunder. I was hoping to get Michael Conforto.But, he was promoted on Friday. I already have him. So, it was not the end of the world.
This was Game 25 for me on the season.
I got to the stadium early not knowing that the game the night before went 17 innings. So there was no batting practice and both teams reported later than usual.
One surprise was that Hideki Matsui, who is a minor league roving instructor for the Yankees showed up and I got him on an 8x10. I had heard he could be there. So, I had two 8x10's with me. I then got him after the game on an OMLB.
Another surprise was hearing that Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud was scheduled to start his rehab with the B-Mets. He must have shown up to the stadium real early. Because we never saw him arrive.

Eric Ruth, 8x10. Eric signed as a free agent in 2013 by the Yankees
Danny Oh, 8x10, Danny was 27th rd pick in 2012 by the Yankees
Ali Castillo, 8x10, Ali signed as a free agent in 2008 by the Yankees
Billy Fleming, Generic SS Custom, Billy signed as a free agent in 2014 and has been moving thru the system pretty fast
P.J. Pilittere, 3 cards. P.J. is currently a coach for the Thunder. P.J. was a 13th rd pick in 2004 by the Yankees and reached as high as AAA, then retired after the 2011 season
Jake Cave, 2015 team card. Jake was a 6th rd pick in 2011 by the Yankees. Jake is ranked #22 in the Yankees Top #30
Francisco Arcia, 2015 team card. Francisco signed as a free agent in 2007 by the Yankees

L.J. Mazzilli, 5 cards. L.J. was a 4th rd pick in 2013 by the Mets and is the son of former major leaguer, Lee Mazzilli
Gabriel Ynoa, 2 cards, Gabriel signed as a free agent in 2010 by the Mets. Gabriel is ranked as the #10 prospect in the Mets Top #30
Brandon Nimmo, 8x10 and 3 cards. Brandon was a 1st rd pick, 13th overall in 2011 by the Mets. Brandon is ranked as the #2 prospect in the Mets Top #30
Josh Smoker, 3 cards. Josh was a 1st rd pick, 31st overall in 2007 by the Nationals. He had some injuries and ended up pitching the 2014 season in Frontier and signed as a free agent before the 2015 season with Mets and he is pitching well and his name as been thrown around as a possible Sept. call-up
Gilber Gomez, 2015 team card. Gilbert signed as a free agent in 2009 by the Mets
Matt Koch, Generic SS Custom. Matt was a 3rd rd pick in 2012 by the Mets. Matt is ranked as the #29 prospect in the Mets Top #30
Beck Wheeler, Generic SS Custom. Beck signed as a free agent in 2011 by the Mets
Akeel Morris, 5 cards. Akeel was a 10th rd pick in 2010 by the Mets. Akeel is ranked as the #15 prospect in the Mets Top #30 and Akeel appeared in 1 game this season with the Mets in the big leagues and was returned to the minors after the 1 appearance. But, was sent to AA instead of Advanced A.

Gavin Cecchini, 8x10. Gavin was a 1st rd pick, 12th overall in 2012 by the Mets. Gavin is ranked as the #5 prospect in the Mets Top #30. Gavin's brother Garin is a prospect in the Red Sox system
