Last night was Game 40 on the season for me. It is the last home stand for the Ducks before the playoffs and it was Game 1 of a 3 Game series between the Skeeters and Ducks.
Before the game there was ceremony to remember 9/11
As for autographs I had an ok night
On the Skeeters side I got the following
Fernando Nieve, 2 cards. Fernando signed as a free agent in 1999 by the Astros and spent parts of 4 seasons in the majors. Astros 2006 & 2008 and Mets 2009 and 2010 and has also played in the Dodgers, A's, Indians and Angels systems. As also pitched in Mexico and Korea
Robbie Weinhardt, 1 card Robbie was a 10th rd pick in 2008 by the Tigers and pitched in 28 games for the Tigers in 2010 and 2 games in 2011. Robbie did not pitch in 2014
Dan Runzler, 1 card. Dan was a 9th rd pick in 2007 by the Giants and has pitched for the Giants in the majors. 2009-2012
Willy Taveras, 2 cards. Willy signed as a free agent in 1999 with the Indians and has played 7 seasons in the majors with the Astros 2004-2006, Rockies 2007-2008, Reds 2009 and Nationals 2010 and has also played in the Phillies, Rangers,, Braves and Royals system before spending the 2014 season in Mexico
On the Ducks side
Elmer Reyes, 3 cards, Elmer signed as a free agent in 2009 by the Braves and signed with the Ducks after being released by the Braves while playing in AAA
Mariel Checo, 2012 Team card. Mariel was a 41st rd pick in 2009 by the Yankees and pitched in the Yankees system 2009-2013, then signing and spending the 2014 season in the Royals system. Mariel started the season with Fargo-Moorhead in the American Assoc. before coming to the Ducks a couple weeks ago.
On the night I got 10 autographs which brings my season total to 734.
I was planning on going to the Ducks tonight for game 2. But, it is raining. I hope to make it to Sundays game which is the last regular season home game.
