Game 2 on the 2016 season was in Somerset with the Ducks visiting. It was game 3 of the 4 games series to start the Atlantic League season. The Ducks are off to 2 game losing streak, which became a 3 game losing streak losing this game in 10 innings
As usual Somerset is stocked full of former MLB player. This season the biggest name is Bryan LaHair, Bryan was a 39th rd pick in 2002 by the Mariners, Bryan played in the majors for 3 seasons. Seattle 2008 and the Cubs in 2011 and 2012. In 2013 Bryan played in Korea and the came back to the US and signed with the Indians in AA and AAA. I got Bryan on an 8x10
Glen Barker, 2 cards. Glen is currently the Patriots hitting coach and was a 11th rd pick in 1993 by the Tigers and spent 3 seasons in the majors all with the Astros 1999-2001. Glen also spent time in the Red Sox and O's system as well as a season playing in Mexico and a 3 game stint with the Patriots in 20013.
Scott Kelly, 2 cards. Scott signed with the Patriots in 2014 after going undrafted. Scott is a local Jersey player who also attended college in Jersey.
Aharon Eggleston, 1 card. Aharon went undrafted out of college and has spent the last 12 seasons in various Indy Leagus as well as time in Mexico
Eric Farris, 2 cards.Eric was a 4th rd pick in 2007 by the Brewers and has had 2 brief stints in the majors, both with the Brewers, 1 game in 2011 and 13 in 2012. Eric also spent time in the Twins system reaching as high as AAA and a brief stint in Mexico in 2015 before signing with the Somerset
Sparky Lyle, 1 card. Sparky was the Patriots Manager for years and retired. He know dresses in uniform, takes pictures with fans before the game, signs some autographs and leaves the dugout shortly after the game starts.
I did not get many autographs, the game went into extra innings and I did not graph outside after the game. I got just 9 which brings my 2016 season to 32 autographs
